ALBINO TIGER BARB
(Capoeta tetrazona)
Description:
       An aggressive fish best kept with other “heavy duty” fish, such as Danios, Rainbowfish, Catfish, and other Barbs.  Keep in schools of at least three members.  A very hardy fish, although susceptible to Ich.

CHECKERBOARD BARB
(Barbus oligolepis)
Description:
       A smaller, less aggressive Barb that can be kept with Tetras and livebearers (except Guppies).  Small schools of 3-4 members will work best.  Males are larger and more colorful.

• Temperament: Peaceful

CHERRY BARB
(Barbus titteya)
Description:
        A good hardy community fish.  Males are all red and smaller than the female, which is duller in color with horizontal body strpies.  A non-schooling fish needing plants for shelter.

• Temperature: 73-79 F.
• pH: 6.5-7.5
• Size: 2"
• Food: Small flakes, frozen, live, veggies.
• Temperament: Peaceful, shy.

GOLD BARB
(Barbus gelius)
Description:
       A very hardy community fish.  Males have more color on their fins and are slender when compared to the female.  An egglayer that prefers a well-planted tank.  Keep in small schools of six or more.

• Food: Small flakes, small frozen, live.
• Temperament: Peaceful.

GREEN TIGER BARB
(Capoeta tetrazona)
Description:
       An aggressive fish best kept with Danios, Rainbowfish, Catfish, and other Barbs; minimum of three to a school.  Alone, they become aggressive to other species.  Susceptible to Ich.

 ROSEY BARB
(Barbus conchonius)
Description:
       A hardy fish that loves to eat plants, even dark green hair algae.  They will not eat Anubias, or Onion Plants.  Do not keep with smaller fish.  Males are red, females are gold.  Keep in small schools.
